Francine, Princess of Montenegro

Princess Francine Petrović Njegoš of Montenegro (27 January, 1950 – 6 August, 2008) was a fashion designer and the wife of Prince Nicholas of Montenegro, the pretender to the throne of Montenegro.

Biography

Princess Francine was born in Casablanca, Morocco, the daughter of Antoine Navarro and Rachel Wazana.cite web | title = Crown Princess Francine | publisher = Order of Prince Danilo I | url = http://www.orderofdanilo.org/en/family/france.htm| accessdate =2008-02-22 ] She studied Law in Paris, and later became the fashion designer for the France Petrovitch & Eva Robinson fashion house which she founded in Paris.

Princess Francine was awarded the Royal Order of Francis I, the Order of Saint Michael of the Wing and the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus. Marriage and children

In 1976 she married Prince Nikola of Montenegro in Trebeurden, Côtes-du-Nord on 27 November. Together they raised a family at Les Lilas, France;
