Bloordale Village

Bloordale Village

Bloordale Village is a Business Improvement Area located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1976, it covers the area along Bloor Street from the intersections at Lansdowne Avenue and Dufferin Street. It is on the boundary between the Dovercourt Wallace-Emerson and Dufferin Grove neighbourhoods.

The strip contains Bloor Collegiate Institute, mostly small retail and has two strip clubs.

The adjacent neighbourhood houses a largely immigrant and lower-income community. A mix of Caribbean, Bangladeshi, Latin American, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Burmese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Portuguese populations are found in the neighbourhood, where 80% of residents speak a native language other than English. The location of the neighbourhood is easily confused, since "Bloordale Park" is located between the Dundas and Dixie Rd intersections with Bloor.
