Jeff Staflund (born on February 11, 1968 in Weyburn, but raised in Lanigan, Saskatchewan) is a singer-songwriter and pianist currently living in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He has released four bilingual albums (French and English) and performs mostly in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. His music has been compared to that of Jackson Browne. Jeff currently works in Winnipeg as a French-English translator. He also works as a dance accompanist and is an occasional jury member for various music competitions. Awards and Accomplishments

In 1991, he won the CKSB Phonogramme competition for best original French-language song in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario and the title of best singer-songwriter at the [http://www.100nons.com/gala.php Gala manitobain de la chanson] , which took place in Winnipeg.

Five years later, in 1996, he won best singer-songwriter at the [http://www.culturel.sk.ca/programmes/artistique/gala_fransaskois/index.htm Gala fransaskois de la chanson] in Regina, Saskatchewan. At the Gala interprovincial de l'Ouest (now called [http://www.radio-canada.ca/regions/chantouest/ Chant’Ouest] ) in June of the same year, he won "audience favourite," the French press award and the SOCAN award for best song.

He is a founding member of The [http://www.rainbowharmonyproject.ca/ Rainbow Harmony Project] (1999). Trust, Believe and Follow

This time, most of the songs were in English.
