In Greek mythology, Acratopotes (Greek: polytonic|Ἀκρατοπότης), the drinker of unmixed wine, was a hero worshiped in Munychia in Attica. [Polemo, "ap. Athen". ii. p. 39] According to Pausanias, who calls him simply Acratus, he was one of the divine companions of Dionysus, [Similar in name to "Dionysus Acratophorus", the "unmixed wine" epithet by which Dionysus was worshiped in Phigaleia in Arcadia.] who was worshiped at Attica. [Pausanias, i. 2. § 4] Pausanias saw his image at Athens in the house of Polytion, where it was fixed in the wall. [Citation
