Heriot-Watt University Hockey Club is one of the 32 clubs that compete in the British Universities Sports Association (BUSA) leagues on a Wednesday and in many Scottish National leagues on Saturdays and Sundays. There have been many athletes that have progressed through the ranks to represent their country at the Scottish Universtites level and on the National and International Stage.
In recent years, the Hockey Club has enjoyed success in the BUSA leagues. Last year, both the Men's and Women's 1st XI reached the knock out stages of the competition.
An amalgamation with Inverleith Hockey Club for the 2007-2008 season will see a number of Heriot-Watt students playing for the Edinburgh side at both National and Regional level.
