Advanced Interactivity Consortium

The Advanced Interactivity Consortium (AIC) is an open forum designed to extend the Advanced Content interactive capabilities of HD DVD to new devices and delivery mechanisms.

It was jointly announced by Toshiba and Microsoft on October 4, 2007 [cite web|url=http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2007/oct07/10-04MSToshibaAICPR.mspx|title=Toshiba and Microsoft Announce Plans to Form Advanced Interactivity Consortium] but the organisation has not yet been finalised.

The companies included in the announcement include the following, but the intention is to extend additional partner invitations in the near future:
