The Fakhro Group, also known as the Abdulla Yousif Fakhro Group is one of the oldest and leading Bahraini enterprises. The group is based in Manama, Bahrain and also has operations in the UAE.

History

The group was founded by the late Yousif bin Abdulrahman Fakhro. From a small business dealing in dates and building materials, it expanded into shipping, with around 40 dhows, with branches in the GCC, Iraq, and India. Other products included cars, timber, foodstuff, and electronics.

Operations

Today, the group's operations include automotive & industrial products, technology, restaurants, shipping, insurance, transport, and agencies.
