RockCorps was founded by: Stephen Greene (CEO), Grady Lee (COO), movie and video director Chris Robinson, Haley Moffett, Paul Hunter, Toby Garrett and Noel Eisenberg.
History
RockCorps sprang from the work of the Greenbucks FoundationHarris, M. “Hard work is music to their ears”, Baltimore Sun, June 25, 2007] . Active in the mid- ‘90s, Greenbucks staged its initial free concerts in Telluride and encouraged local residents to clean up the outdoor concert space in order to earn a ticket.
In 2005, the company partnered with
Boost Mobile , a wireless telecommunications brand dedicated to boosting the lives of today’s youth. In its first year, the Boost Mobile RockCorps movement touched sixU.S. cities and had 6,000 volunteers who generated 24,000 hours of service. In 2007, Boost Mobile RockCorps expanded the program to 11 cities and over 15,000 youth.BMRC Concerts
