Landtag of Saxony

The Landtag of Saxony is Saxony's legislature. It is based on the Constitution of the Free State of Saxony dated 1992.

Elections are conducted using a proportional representation system, with a minimum of 5% vote share to receive any seats.

The current strength of the right-wing NPD, led locally by Holger Apfel, is unprecedented in modern Germany.
