Alexey Plotnikov, better known under his stage name Lex Plotnikoff (sometimes credited simply as Lex or Lee Nicholson) is a Russian composer and guitar player. Plotnikov is a founder of Mechanical Poet, a Russian progressive metal band based in Moscow. He is also known as music composer of game soundtracks and painter/graphic designer whose original style and dazzling technique became one of the most noted Mechanical Poet trademarks.
