WPA World Eight-ball Championship

WPA World Eight-ball Championship

The WPA World Eight-ball Championship is an eight-ball tournament held in Fujairah, UAE, and sanctioned by the World Pool-Billiard Association. The total purse is $200K with the winner taking $60K. A total of 64 participants compete in the event.

Format

Group stage

The 64 players are divided into 16 groups of 4 players per group. Each Cuegloss|Match|match is Cuegloss|Race|race-to-7. The leading 2 players in each group move to the last 32.

Last 32 to Semi-finals

The 32 players play in single-elimination format. Cuegloss|Match|Matches are race-to-10.

Finals

The last 2 players in a race to 11.
