Carl Johnson (goalkeeper)

Carl Johnson, born February 29, 1980 in Liverpool, England is a former soccer goalkeeper and goalkeeper coach.

He played at Bury F.C., Stoke City F.C. and Everton F.C. as a youth player before returning to Bury F.C. in a professional capacity. Johnson also spent time at Bristol City F.C., Peterborough United F.C. and Ipswich Town F.C. between 1997-2001 before dropping into English semi-professional football.

Johnson last known club was Warrington Town F.C. of the Unibond League.

Having failed to make a major impact in his short professional career, Johnson turned to coaching, returning to Everton to work with the team's elite Academy.
