Bryn Davies (born August 22, 1976) is an American bassist and cellist. Sometimes she can be seen playing the piano, too. She grew up in Livermore, California. In 1997 she majored in Jazz Performance at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. There she met the mandolin player Billy Bright and the guitarist Brian Smith with whom she formed the "Two High String Band". Billy and Bryn got married and settled in Austin, Texas in late 1997. They began working with Peter Rowan as the Texas Trio, which eventually would become the Peter Rowan & Tony Rice Quartet.

Around 2005 Billy Bright’s and Bryn Davies’ relationship ended up in divorce and Bryn moved to Nashville, Tennessee. From January to August 2007 she worked with Patty Griffin on the Children Running Through tour. Currently she plays with Uncle Earl and Megan McCormick.
