Forms of T'ai Chi Ch'uan vary according to the creator's knowledge of Taoist Philosophy relating to Taoist Boxing (T'ai Chi Ch'uan) and preferences. Some Forms relate more to philosophic principles, some to practical Taoist Boxing, but all should contain the '13 Principles'.

There are also many variations of qigong (ch'i kung) forms associated with different schools.
