John de Breton (or John Breton) was a medieval Bishop of Hereford.

Life

He was the son of William le Breton, a royal justice. John served as a royal justice from 1266 [http://british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=34422 British History Online Bishops of Hereford] accessed on October 26, 2007] until his election to the see of Hereford between around January 6 1269 and consecrated on June 2 1269Fryde "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 250] at Waverley by Nicholas of Ely Bishop of Winchester.

He died on May 12 1275.
