Karl Auer (born 20 October, 1916 in Prienbach am Inn, Bavaria; died 31 March, 1997 in Simbach am Inn) was a highly decorated German Waffen-SS officer.

He was one of 98 soldiers to have been awarded both the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and Close Combat Clasp in Gold.
