Focused on the textbook market, BookRenter.com rents books at an average of 50% off retail prices. Five rental periods, lasting from one to four months, are available to accommodate quarter and semester schools. BookRenter.com offers free return shipping and hundreds of thousands of titles.

By entering the author, title, or ISBN, customers can search from more than one million titles. Orders are often shipped by the next business day. Three shipping times are offered: ground, two day, and next day. With five different rental periods, ranging from 30 to 125 days, students can choose the time frame that best fits their needs. Books are shipped in "like-new" condition. Customers can return the book at the end of the rental period or purchase it at retail price minus the cost of the rental. Customers can return books for free by printing out a prepaid shipping label.

Mascot

Tikiman, the official mascot, is designed to appeal to college students. Tikiman represents college culture and a fun-loving attitude. He is based on a Tiki talisman. He has social networking profiles on Facebook and MySpace.
