"Identify" is a pop–ballad written by Billy Corgan and performed by Natalie Imbruglia for the "Stigmata" soundtrack (1999). The song was released only as a promo single, and was therefore ineligible to chart, although Imbruglia did film a music video for it, directed by Samuel Bayer, which features on the "Stigmata" DVD. Dark and broody in style, the song is seen as a departure from Imbruglia's usual sound, and remains a fan favourite.

'Identify' Lyrics

Your eyes they send me to the eternity, your heart may cast me to hell, to hell I'm bound. But lately it's your loveit's comdamnation enough.

Identify, please identify, if it's me you want standing by your side.Identify, these tears of mine, am I lonely or am I just alive.

And let's time to say who and where we stand,it's test of love. Your hands were speaking no, I felt the movement go, the ice was breaking so.I wonder why that I ...

Identify with you my life, to leave me empty and see if I survive.

For every questioned hour, for every second devored, you let me wander you into a myth that I missed.

Identify, please identify if it's me you want standing by your side. Identify these tears of mine, am I lonely or am I just alive.

Am I lonely, or am I just alive.
