Kane Bentley is a New Zealand player for the Catalans Dragons in the Super League. Born to a New Zealand/Samoan father and New Zealand mother, Kane lived in Auckland, New Zealand then later moved to France, where his father played for La Réole XIII. His senior league started at Marseilles then UTC. In 2007, he gained promotion to the Dragons first team squad alongside his brother Andrew. He has represented France at junior level for a number of years.

On the field, he is said to be very talented in attack as well as in defense and even though he presently plays hooker for the Dragons, most of his junior league was in the five-eight position.
