James Anderson (missionary)

James Anderson was a Protestant Christian missionary who served with the London Missionary Society during the late Qing Dynasty China. He entered the country in Hong Kong on December 27, 1865, and continued on to Canton in 1867 [cite book |title=Memorials of Protestant Missionaries to the Chinese |publisher=American Presbyterian Mission Press |location=Shanghai |year=1867 |page=275] where he remained through 1870.
