British Motorcyclists Federation

The British Motorcyclists Federation (BMF) is a United Kingdom based riders' rights group.

Formed in 1960 as the Federation of National One Make Motorcycle Clubs (and renamed BMF in 1965) to counter accusations of 'leather jacketed hooligans', the BMF represents the responsible motorcycle rider in the UK. It is mostly made up of a variety of smaller motorcycle clubs and currently represents over 100,000 members. It is a member of several trans-national organisations including FEMA and the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme.

The BMF runs a number of bike shows each year at Peterborough, Kelso in Scotland, and Paddock Wood in Kent.

The BMF also promotes motorcycle safety through its Blue Riband advanced riding test and training.
