Lamar High School is the public high school in Lamar, Missouri. It is part of the Lamar R-I School District. The mascot for Lamar Schools is the Tigers.
Administration
The principal, Kevin Baldwin, and the assistant principal, Larry Malle, handle most disciplinary actions at Lamar High School. If a student is caught breaking one of the school's rules, they are most likely to be sent to I.S.S. which is handled by the head football coach, Scott Bailey. If it is a more serious offense, or a repeat offense the student may be suspended.

There are 26 teachers employed in the High School: 3 for math, 3 for physical education, 3 for science, 4 for language arts, 3 for social studies, 1 for Spanish, 1 librarian, 3 for music, 1 for art, 1 for lifetime skills, and 3 for special education.
The school's counselor is Jill Hall. She handles the college visits, standardized tests and handles situations involving the school's various clubs and organizations.
