"Epitonium minora" is a species of small predatory sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Epitoniidae, the wentletraps.

Distribution

This species is endemic to southeastern Australia and the east coast of Northland in New Zealand

Habitat

This wentletrap is found in sandy, shallow water on the open coast.

hell description

The shell is rather small, fairly thin, white and shining, with distant, strong, but thin, lamellose varices, about 10 per whorl, the interstices smooth.

The shell coloration is a shining white.

The shell height is up to 15 mm, and the width up to 5.5 mm.
