Hana Al Bayaty

Hana Al Bayaty is an Iraqi-French documentary film maker and journalist for the Al Ahram weekly in Egypt. Based in Brussels, she is a member of the Executive Committee of The Brussells Tribunal. She is making a film about the aftermath of the Iraq war.Her productions usually reflect politics, as she filmed On Democracy in Iraq (2003) at a meeting of the Iraqi opposition in London, three weeks before the American invasion.
