Karla Grant

Karla Grant

Karla Grant is an Australian presenter for the SBS's program "Living Black", news and events concerning indigenous communities within Australia.

Grant was born in Adelaide to a Dutch father and an Aboriginal mother. Earlier, she hosted "Aboriginal Australia" on Channel 10, a programme which was also directed towards Australia's indigenous community.

In 1994 she joined SBS, originally as producer, reporter, director and presenter on the Walkley Award-winning programme "ICAM", SBS’s first Indigenous current affairs show.

Karla Grant has three children with television personality Stan Grant, to whom she had been married for 17 years when he left her - very publicly - in 2000 to partner with fellow Seven Network colleague and sports journalist Tracey Holmes.
