NCSU Coaching

His 21 seasons marked the beginning of an era: Wolfpack baseball never again had a losing season. In 1968 he lead the Pack to an ACC championship, as well as the NCAA District III title and a third-place finish in the 1968 College World Series. Another highlight of Esposito's coaching career came in the 1973-1975 seasons, when the Pack took home three league titles in a row. Esposito was named ACC Coach of the Year in 1984 and 1986 [ [http://www.lib.ncsu.edu/exhibits/baseball/highlights.html "Wolfpack Baseball: A History of Achievement" NCSU Libraries Exhibition] ] .
