Larry Hu

Larry Zhixing Hu, born in Beijing, China on June 6, 1985, and raised in Mobile, AL, was awarded minor planet name 18739 Larryhu [ [http://www.ll.mit.edu/LINEAR/winners_2003.html The Ceres Connection Winners for 2003 ] ] during the 2003 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Cleveland, OH for a computer science team project named "A Liquid-based Thermoelectric Application for Processor Architecture Scalability". [ [http://sciserv.org/isef/results/grnd2003.asp Intel International Science and Engineering Fair: 2003 Intel ISEF Grand Awards ] ] The year prior, Larry was a member of the first team to be sent to ISEF from the state of Alabama.

He currently lives in Seattle, WA, and is a former member of the University of Washington NROTC. He graduated from UMS-Wright Preparatory School in Mobile, Alabama.
