"Leucosyrinx pikei", is a species of medium-sized predatory sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Turridae, the turrids.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand, found in the North Island on the east coast north of Whangarei.

Habitat

This turrid is found at depths of about 475 m.

hell description

The shell is of light build, narrowly , with a tall spire. The body whorl is long and narrow, tapered to a long, straight, unnotched siphonal canal. The shell height is up to 35 mm, and width 11 mm.
