Fuller Baronets

Fuller Baronets

There have been three Baronetcies created for persons with the surname Fuller, one in the Baronetage of England and two in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom.

The Fuller Baronetcy, of the Inner Temple, was created in the Baronetage of England on 1 August 1687 for James Chapman Fuller. The title became extinct on his death in 1709.

The Fuller-Eliott-Drake Baronetcy, of Nutwell Court, Devon, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 22 August 1821 for Thomas Trayton Fuller-Eliott-Drake, grandson of the first Lord Heathfield, and grand-nephew of the last Drake baronet of Buckland. Originally surnamed simply Fuller, the first baronet had adopted the additional surnames Eliott and Drake upon his inheritance of Buckland Abbey and Nutwell Court from the second Lord Heathfield in 1813. The baronetcy was granted with a special remainder to the first baronet's next two younger brothers and their male issue, and did in fact devolve upon Francis George Augustus Fuller, a son of the younger of the two (who also adopted the additional surnames), but became extinct upon his death without a male heir in 1916. The second baronet's only child married the third Lord Seaton, who also adopted the Eliott and Drake surnames.

The Fuller Baronetcy, of Neston Park in Corsham in the County of Wiltshire, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 7 July 1910 for John Fuller. He represented Westbury in the House of Commons as a Liberal from 1900 to 1911 and served as Governor of Victoria from 1911 to 1914.
