The Prix d'Arenberg is a Group 3 flat horse race in France open to two-year-old thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1,100 metres (approximately 5½ furlongs) at Chantilly Racecourse, and it takes place annually, presently in September.

It was first run in October 1911 at Longchamp, and it was originally titled the Prix des Coteaux. The distance of the race was initially set at 1,100 metres, the same length as is presently contested. The event was abandoned throughout World War I, and it did not return until 1920. The following year its regular distance was cut to 1,000 metres.

In 1925 it was given a new title, the Prix d'Arenberg, in memory of Auguste d'Arenberg (1837–1924), an eminent figure in French horse racing. Arenberg had been a long-serving member of the "Société d'Encouragement", the sport's main governing body at that time, and he became chairman of the organisation in 1897.

During World War II the Prix d'Arenberg was cancelled only once, in 1939. Thereafter, when it could not be run at Longchamp, it was temporarily switched to Auteuil (1940), Maisons-Laffitte (1943) and Tremblay (1944). At Auteuil it was contested over 900 metres.

The Prix d'Arenberg was first run at its present home, Chantilly, in 1975. It continued at this venue until 1982, and it then returned to Longchamp, where it stayed until 1993. The present distance was introduced in 1994, from which point the race began a decade of frequent venue changes. During this time there were brief spells at Maisons-Laffitte (1994, 2002–03), Chantilly (1995, 1997, 1999–2001) and Evry (1996). The race was cancelled in 1998 due to budget cuts. The present period at Chantilly began in 2004.
