The Rhythm Sisters, an English acoustic/pop duo from Leeds emerged in 1987 with the album "Road to Roundhay Pier". Sisters Mandi and Debi Laek and Bill Byford released their first single "American Boys", which reached number 7 in the UK Indie music charts, while touring extensively in the UK and Europe with The Proclaimers. Their musical line ups have included Bruce Foxton from The Jam, Bill Nelson from Be Bop Deluxe and Chris Bostock from JoBoxers.
