"Ethmia bipunctella" is a day active moth from the family Ethmiidae.

The wingspan of the moth ranges from 19–28 mm.

The flight time ranges from May to September. The moth has two generations in one year.

The most important host plant is the Viper's Bugloss, but also "Anchusa officinalis" and plants from the genus Comfrey. Puppa are attached to dead wood.

The moth can be found in Central and Southern Europe, North Africa, Asia and the North Eastern part of North America.
