Sociedade Brasileira de Céticos e Racionalistas is the Brazilian society of skeptics and rationalists. It was founded in 2001 by Dr. Renato M.E. Sabbatini, a university professor, researcher and science writer. It currently has more than 300 members. The Society discusses actively and promotes ethical responsibility in the mass media.
