Sam Brown House

Sam Brown House is a house in Gervais, Oregon, United States, that was built during the 1800s by pioneer Sam Brown. The house was featured in the August, 1986, issue of "National Geographic Magazine". According to the magazine, Samuel Brown was a Missourian who dug 62 pounds of gold in California and who later moved his wife to Oregon. The couple accumulated more than convert|1000|acre|km2 and built their house in the town now known as Gervais. [ Gibbon, Boyd. National Geographic.
