HMS Orlando

HMS "Orlando" has been the name of four ships of the Royal Navy.

*The first "Orlando" was a 36 gun fifth rate sold in 1824.
*The second "Orlando" was a wood screw frigate launched in 1858 and sold in 1871.
*The third "Orlando" was the lead ship of the "Orlando class of cruiser, launched in 1886 and scrapped in 1905.
*The fourth "Orlando" was to have been a destroyer, but was renamed HMS "Loyal" prior to launch in 1913.
