Instant Physics

"Instant Physics" is a 1995 book by Tony Rothman, published by the Ballentine/Fawcett group. The book, meant for readers with a minimal amount of mathematical training, consists of 10 chapters that cover most of the essential topics in physics, from Newtonian mechanics to nuclear physics and general relativity. It has proven very popular with the public and as of 2007 remains in print.
