Logic Made Easy

Logic Made Easy

"Logic Made Easy" is a book by Deborah J. Bennett (ISBN 0-393-05748-8). It was published in April 2004 by W.W. Norton & Company. Its tagline is "How to Know When Language Deceives You". This aptly describes its theme of the analysis of just exactly what common words like "some", "all", and "not" mean. So while the book does delve heavily into logic like syllogisms by Aristotle, the focus is on how logic relates to speech and writing. It is especially relevant to eliminating problems such as ambiguity and imprecise language from communications such as technical writing.
