Alexander Hamilton High School (Milwaukee, Wisconsin)

Alexander Hamilton High School is a public high school located on 6215 West Warnimont Ave in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The school is often called Hamilton H.S. The school had 2126 students during the 2004-2005 school year.

Hamilton is a large high school located on Milwaukee's far southwest side. Hamilton is located near the intersection of 60th and Forest Home.

In athletics Hamilton competes at the WIAA Division I level as a member of the Milwaukee City Conference. Athletic teams include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, and wrestling. The Hamilton Wildcat football team can be visited at http://www.hamiltonfootball.net

A minimum of 22 credits are required to graduate. Students can graduate with as many as 32 credits. Students can also elect to take Advanced Placement and Honors courses during any of their four years.

Hamilton has numerous club activities including Akoma Ntoaso Dancers, Human Relations, Medical & Lab Science, Asian Club etc.

Hamilton has 4 clusters, Gilder-Lehrman Institute of American Studies, Business and Finance, Communications Technology, Medical and Laboratory Sciences.

Hamilton also has a newly constructed branch housing Hamilton's Academy of Finance students.
