Jed Mercurio

Jed Mercurio

Jed Mercurio is a British writer who also writes under the name John MacUre. He created the television series "Cardiac Arrest" and "Bodies". "Bodies" is based on his novel of the same name and earned him two BAFTA Television Award nominations and two RTS Award nominations. He has also written and directed for "The Grimleys" (and wrote the pilot episode).

Before turning to writing, Mercurio trained as a doctor. His latest novel, "Ascent", was released in 2007.
