"A L" is a studio album by Amanda Lear, first released on label Five Records in 1985. The four track 12" minialbum contains cover versions of evergreens "As Time Goes By" from movie classic "Casablanca", the German language "Bel Ami" (originally titled "Du Hast Glück Bei Den Frau'n, Bel Ami") from Willi Forst's 1939 film by the same name, "Bye Bye Baby" - originally performed by Marilyn Monroe in the movie "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" - and Hal David and Burt Bacharach's "Magic Moments", a 1958 hit for Perry Como. "A L" was issued by minor label Five Records when Lear was at the lowest point of her musical career and primarily working as a TV entertainer for RAI in Italy. The original vinyl EP is today a rare collector's item, two of these four tracks do however appear on career retrospective "Forever Glam! - The Best Of 1976-2005".
