May 18 ,1868 -August 20 ,1947 ) was a U.S. Representative fromIllinois .Born in the parish of Vestra Tollstad, Hastholmen, Sweden, Lundin immigrated to the United States and settled in
Chicago, Illinois , in 1880.After completing his academic studies, he served as president of Lundin & Co., manufacturing chemists before serving as a member of the State senate 1894-1898.Lundin was elected as a Republican to the Sixty-first Congress (
March 4 ,1909 -March 3 ,1911 ).He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1910 to the Sixty-second Congress.He resumed manufacturing interests until retirement in 1916.He died inBeverly Hills, California ,August 20 ,1947 .He was interred in Forest Home Cemetery,Forest Park, Illinois .References
