Edward A. Warren

Edward Allen Warren (May 2, 1818 - July 2, 1875) was a U.S. Representative from Arkansas.

Born near Eutaw, Alabama, Warren completed preparatory studies.He studied law.He was admitted to the bar in 1843 and commenced the practice of law in Clinton, Mississippi.He served as member of the State house of representatives in 1845 and 1846.He moved to Arkansas in 1847 and settled in Camden, where he continued the practice of his profession.He served as member of the State house of representatives in 1848 and 1849, serving as speaker in 1849.He served as judge of the circuit court of the sixth district of Arkansas.

Warren was elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-third Congress (March 4, 1853-March 3, 1855).

Warren was elected to the Thirty-fifth Congress (March 4, 1857-March 3, 1859).He resumed the practice of law.He died in Prescott, Nevada County, Arkansas, July 2, 1875.He was interred in Moscow Cemetery, near Prescott, Arkansas.
