Harry Hallowes

Harry Hallowes (born 1936) is a tramp living in Highgate, North London. He attracted public and media attention after his plot of land could be worth up to £4 million. Hallowes moved to England from County Sligo, Ireland in 1956. He is the owner of a 800 square meter block of land that he claimed under the laws of adverse possession. [cite web

Dwyer International (property developers) bought the site in 2005 and attempted to evict Harry Hallowes. Harry's solictor in the case was Maurice Evans.
