Gpgcfg Chishtian

The Government Post Graduate College For Girls - Chishtian (GPGCFG Chishtian) was established as the Government Inter College for Girls in Chishtian on September 1, 1982. It was upgraded to a Degree College in 1995. Then it got its present status in 1999.

At present, only a M.A. English & Urdu are being offered here. In May 2007, there were 2,280 studentsFact|date=July 2008 are studying here in a harsh environment: there are only 800 chairs available for the students in the college, there is no auditorium in the college, the boarding students are suffering more hardships as there is no official hostel available for them.
