The 11th Regiment Iowa Volunteer Infantry was an infantry regiment that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War.

The 11th Iowa Infantry was organized at Davenport, Iowa and mustered into Federal service between September 28 and October 18, 1861.

The regiment was mustered out on July 15, 1865.

Total strength and casualties

The regiment lost 5 officers and 86 enlistedmen who were killed in action or who died of their wounds and 2 officers and 166 enlistedmen who died of disease, for a total of 259 fatalities.
