Shinya Miyamoto

Shinya Miyamoto (宮本 慎也, born November 5, 1970) is a professional baseball player from Suita, Osaka, Japan. He plays shortstop for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows.

He was chosen as the captain of the Japanese olympic baseball team for the 2004 Summer Olympics, and won a bronze medal. He was also part of the WBC Japanese baseball team in 2006.
