Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management as an undergraduate program is thought to have began at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science while Rebecca Finley was the Chair of Pharmacy in the late 1990's. PCPS later became the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP).
This degree is also offered at Saint Joseph's University, located in Philadelphia, PA, whichs was one of the first universities to offer this specialized program of study.
Outside of Pennsylvania, Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management is offered at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, MA.
