Unnal Mudiyum Thambi is a Tamil language film starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role of the protagonist.It is a remake of telugu film Rudraveena. This movie has the essence of social welfare. Kamal is the son of a Gemini Ganesan who has devoted himself to classical music. Kamal Haasan on the contrary has less interest in classical music and is very much interested in social services.
