Florijan Matekalo

Florijan Matekalo (April 25, 1920 in Jajce, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes – May 20, 1995 in Belgrade, Serbia, FR Yugoslavia) was a Croatian footballer and manager. He played for both the Kingdom of Yugoslavia's national team and the Banovina of Croatia's national team.

Matekalo started his career with local side Elektrobosna Jajce before moving to Slavija Sarajevo. He later moved to top Croatian side HŠK Građanski.

He began his international career with the Banovina of Croatia, and became the first scorer of any Croatian national team. He played his only international for the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in its last match, against Germany.

After the Second World War, he moved to FK Partizan and later also managed the club. He also managed the Egyptian and Lybian national teams. Matekalo died in 1995 in Belgrade.
