Can't Wait to See the Movie is Roger Daltrey's seventh solo album released in the U.S. in June, 1987. The vinyl album was released on Atlantic 81759, and was produced by Alan Shacklock, David Foster, Chas Sanford & Jimmy Scott. It was recorded at various studios in London and Los Angeles. Daltrey is credited as co-writer on the tracks "Balance on Wires" and "Take Me Home."

The album was re-issued as an audio CD on October 12, 2004, onWounded Bird Records.
